Uniform Guidelines
At St. John’s Matric Hr. Sec. School, we instill discipline, unity, and a sense of identity through a structured and age-appropriate uniform policy. Students are expected to follow the prescribed uniform code diligently to reflect the values of neatness, responsibility, and respect for the school community.
Uniform for Boys – Pre.K.G. to V Std
- Monday: White Shorts, White Shirt, White Shoes, White Socks, Belt & Tie.
- Tuesday to Thursday: White Shirt, Green Off-Pant, Green Socks, Black Shoes.
- Friday (House-wise Sports Uniform): Yellow / Red / Blue / Green Shorts, White Socks, Black Shoes.
Uniform for Boys – VI to X Std
- Monday: White Pant, White Shirt, White Shoes, White Socks, Belt & Tie.
- Tuesday to Thursday: White Shirt, Green Off-Pant, Green Socks, Black Shoes.
- Friday (House-wise Sports Uniform): Yellow / Red / Blue / Green Shorts, White Socks, Black Shoes.
Uniform for Girls – Pre.K.G. to U.K.G
- Monday: White Petticoat, White Shirt, White Shoes, White Socks, Belt & Tie.
- Tuesday to Thursday: White Shirt, Green Petticoat, Green Socks, Black Shoes.
- Friday: Light Blue Shirt, Dark Blue Off-Pant, Black Shoes, White Socks.
Uniform for Girls – I to V Std
- Monday: White Petticoat, White Shirt, White Shoes, White Socks, Belt & Tie.
- Tuesday to Thursday: White Shirt, Green Petticoat, Green Socks, Black Shoes.
- Friday (House-wise Sports Uniform): Yellow / Red / Blue / Green Shorts, White Socks, Black Shoes.
Uniform for Girls – VI to X Std
- Monday: White Chudidhar, White Shawl, White Shoes, White Socks.
- Tuesday to Thursday: White Chudidhar, Green Shawl, Green Socks, Black Shoes.
- Friday (House-wise Sports Uniform): Yellow / Red / Blue / Green Shorts, White Socks, Black Shoes.
General Uniform Instructions
- Students must wear clean and well-ironed uniforms daily.
- Footwear must be polished; white shoes for Monday, black shoes for other days.
- Shirts should be smartly tucked in.
- Boys must keep their hair short and neatly trimmed.
- Girls should maintain neat hairstyles—plaited or tied up appropriately.
- The school ID card must be worn at all times.
